Due diligence as a source of information at investment decision process

Abstrakt
Investors have involved their own savings or trusted capitals in projects to gain higher returns than from other investments, according to a rule – higher risks, higher returns. A key problem is an access to entrepreneurs’ comprehend sive and viable information, which can considerably diminish risks of incorrect investment decisions. An aim of article is to indicate places and possibilitiesto achieve appropriate information necessary to make investment decisions by investors, to reduce information asymmetry and moral hazard risks on stage of access to information about investment opportunities, approach to due diligence and a fi nal evaluation of investment offers, and to indicate threats of incomplete, ill or even untruly information
