The sources of students’ livelihood and evaluation of the scholarships’ awarding system at the Economic Sciences Faculty at Warsaw University of Life Sciences

Abstract
In this article, the sources of students financial ability and assessment of scholarship granted at Warsaw University of Life Sciences were presented. The research indicates that approximately 94% of respondents didn’t use the student’s loans and almost half of the respondents didn’t receive the scholarships from the university during their studies. It can be observed, that the most just is the system of granting scientific scholarships, and the least fair are the social, housing or maintenance scholarships. Almost three quarters of the researched population received financial support from their families.
