Significance of the Stimulant Products in the Economies of the Developing Countries
Main Article Content
Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of four products selected from the group of the stimulants (i.e. coffee, tea, cocoa and tobacco) from the point of view of their importance in the developing economies. The author examines the localisation of the stimulant production, the size and geographical directions of export of the products under consideration, as well as the changes in their consumption in the countries which produce and import the stimulants. To emphasis the economic significance played by the stimulants in national economies, the poverty dimensions in rural regions of the producer countries were showed.
