The elements of optimisation theory and methods of solving non-linear optimisation problems

Main Article Content

Joanna Kisielińska

Abstract
This article contains the elements of optimisation theory - the mathematical forms of nonlinear optimisation problems without constraints and with constraints and preconditions and sufficient conditions for existence of the optimal solution. Next the author presents methods of non-linear optimisation. This presentation includes methods of solving problems without constraints and with constraints. Difficulties occurred when using these methods are discussed at the end.
