Financing and investment in Poland

Abstract
Saving, financing and (real and financial) investment in Poland from 2005 to 2007 are analysed in the article in the framework of annual financial and capital accounts. The Central Statistical Office publishes these accounts. Polish national accounts are compiled on the basis of ESA ’95. The ESA ’95 is broadly consistent with the System of National Accounts of the United Nations (SNA ’93) with regards to the definitions, accounting rules and classifications. It was affirmed, that households and rest of the world are the basic source of funding for domestic institutional sectors. However, the meaning of households diminishes, and the rest of the world grows. It means that, the level of real investments in the Polish economy is become addicted in the large degree from the inflow of the foreign capital. Financial institutions perform in the economy as the financial intermediary. Moreover, recent years have seen a substantial rebalancing between general government and non-financial corporations net borrowing positions
