Wpływ bezrobocia na ubóstwo mieszkańców gmin Legionowo i Nieporęt

The aim of the paper is to present the relationship between two phenomena: unemployment and poverty among Legionowo and Nieporęt communes’ residents, who got Communal Centers Help Social’s (CHS) help. In the study several aspects were considered: the analysis of an unemployment structure, housing conditions and the size of help got from CHS. There was also conduced the temporary analysis of poverty among unemployed. The most of respondents didn’t receive CHS’s help regularly what means that unemployment didn’t promote social help addiction. The poverty among unemployed in Legionowo and Nieporęt communes was the case of short duration but recurrent. The size of social help was to small to raise frequency of its use.
