Ocena umiejętności motywacyjnych dyrektorów szkół rolniczych

One of the most important factors determining the effective management in every organisation, which also means the school, is selection of the proper ways ofmotivating the employees. The people, who are motivated to the work, are full of enthusiasm, determination and energy. They enjoy working with the others. They also carry the responsibility for the results of their work. In the article, there have been presented various theories of motivation, so that the mechanism of stimulating people to acting could be shown. This problem was the basis on which there were presented the attitudes, opinions and the behaviours of the headmasters showing their motivating abilities. It was found out that the headmasters too often see only the disadvantages in the teachers' work, but they notice and reward the positive behaviours more rarely. They also do not create the optimal working conditions and they take not enough care of the teachers' lower level needs (self-realisation).
