The Changes in the Grain Market Organization in Poland

Abstract
This paper presents general direction of the grain market transformation in Poland over the years 1990-1999. The main focus is on organizational, ownership, technological as well as marketing changes in the enterprises dealing with the grain processing and trade. The analysis was supported by data on resource and use of basic cereals, the level of commercial production of grain and procurement of cereals. An analysis leads to some suggestions about future transformation directions in Polish grain sector.lw
