Abstract
In the difficult period of social and economic transformation, the farmers' demand for educational and advisory services constitutes one of the crucial problems engaging research workers, professionals from Agricultural Extension Units and the most involved into the problem, namely farmers. Scientific Conference organised by the Department of Agricultural Counselling, Warsaw Agricultural University, that look place on 6 November 1998 in Warsaw made possible to emphasise and debate on all questions related to farmers education and advisory services provided them during social and economic transformation in Poland.
