Pojęcie rozwoju zrównoważonego: implikacje teoretyczne i praktyczne

The paper treats of theoretical and pragmatic implications of the idea of sustainable development. Author denotes Immanuel Kant as a person inspiring philosophers' to contemplation, which resulted in the fact, that today we use any notions with awareness that they are rather our project of existence understanding than mirror image of that what is independent from man's activity to learn. The reconstruction of the project of reality understanding included in the concept of sustainable development is begun from the analysis of its definition stated in 1975 by the Governing Board of UNEP. Ontological, axiological and methodological conditions of the concept of sustainable development are pointed as well as its relation with the meaning of interaction and variety. It is shown the way, the sustainable development enforces the transition to the thinking ordered by ecosystem metaphor and enables considering more complicated interactions than linear and one-way relationship in the scheme: subject - object, reason - effect. To understand these interrelations an important is expression of synergy. In conclusion it is said that pragmatic implications of sustainable development are noticed both in political activity and certain co-operation between interdisciplinary specialists. Synergy effects of this co-operation unavoidably will exceed the results possible to reach by summing up the results obtained in the framework of the individual specialization.
